Dubuque, Iowa is a the county seat of Dubuque County. Located along the Mississippi River at the junction of Wisconsin and Illinois (regionally known as the Tri-State Area) it is one of the few cities in Iowa with bluffs. Dubuque is a tourist destination featuring unique architecture, the Mississippi River for fishing and recreation, the millwork district with dining and entertainment and much more.
